With the world’s eyes on London, the TBA team has been busy getting out and about, testing the surprisingly quiet underground and checking out new and different venues in the city.
Last week two of TBA's top secret agents, Katie and Alex, went to the Barbican to see the James Bond Exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise from 1962's Dr No to this year's Skyfall. It explores the craft behind the screen icons, the secret service and villains, tailoring and costumes, set and production design, automobiles, gadgets and special effects, graphic design and motion graphics, exotic locations, stunts and props.
Before Olympics fever gripped the nation, TBA produced a working session for Bupa Care Home Managers in Manchester. Historically these sessions have been by region but this year Bupa decided to do it differently and bring all the care home workers together for the first time. The aim of the working session was to impart Bupa’s customer promise and vision to all the Managers. We involved the audience as much as possible throughout the day – asking for their opinions on the issues raised, engaging them in activities in break out groups and using screens in refreshment breaks to send celebratory messages to individuals.
As part of our extensive work with Guinness in Africa, TBA have again been in Nigeria but this time with three Arsenal players, celebrating the team’s new relationship with Malta Guinness - the official malt drink partner of Arsenal in Nigeria, Ghana and East Africa.
The TBA team worked with Guinness and Arsenal to take Lucas Podolski, Per Mertesacker and Bacary Sagna out to Nigeria to bring the excitement of this new relationship directly to the consumers. Arsenal is one of, if not the most popular EPL team in Nigeria. If you think you know your stuff, meet the Nigerian fans and their encyclopedic knowledge of all things ‘Gunners’.
With all the excitement surrounding the Olympics it's easy to forget about the huge logistics happening behind the scenes for every part of the games. TBA were appointed by Ralph Lauren to install their "fit rooms" - aptly named considering the super-athletes who would be visiting them!
