Residing in the Hotel De Tuilerieën (http://www.hoteltuilerieen.com/) a former elegant patrician house that has been transformed into a luxurious, contemporary hotel (images below), we also had full tours around meeting spaces and rooms available at the Hotel Dukes' Palace, Hotel Heritage Relais & Chateaux and Hotel Prinsenhof all of which were idyllic and generous if their offerings – be it the welcoming log fires, bar for gin-tasting & gastronomic canapés or Belgium choccie at the breakfast buffet! The largest venue and only hotel chain provider was the Crowne Plaza with 12 meeting rooms and sleeping up to 370.
Other activites included making our own chocolates at Choco-Story, a tour and fine-dining on the roof of the Concert Hall (known as the Concertgebouw Brugge & catering from Cardinal), a Flemish feast from family run restaurant De Vlaamsche Pot and seven-course wine and food tasting at Patrick Devos where we were treated to a sitting in their Art Deco private dining room.
A massive thank you to Sarah and her team at Meeting in Brugge - http://www.meetinginbrugge.be/ and Visit Flanders - www.meetinflanders.com for organizing such an action-packed and informative trip. We definitely plan to come back and with lots of clients in the near future!
