During the last week of July TBA produced the Global Final of Diageo Reserve WORLD CLASS. This is the industry’s most prestigious and respected mixology competition and this year it returned to it’s homeland, Great Britain. TBA led the delivery of the creative concept ‘DISCOVER’ where bar tenders, guests, media and consumers were encouraged to discover the world’s best cocktails, served by the world’s best bar tenders.
TBA descended on Battersea Evolution for the second time last week to attend another prestigious Awards ceremony - The BT Sports Industry Awards (SIA). The annual event rewards the most creative, innovative and commercially successful work from the UK Sport Industry over the last year.
Last night, TBA’s Max and Sophie had the honour of being invited to the annual M&IT Awards (#MITAwards) held at Battersea Evolution. Organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, the awards event brings together the various sectors of the business to measure market reaction in rewarding excellence of service and product. Also on tap was great company, fantastic cuisine, excellent live entertainment and a big push on raising funds for charity.
The Integrated Systems Europe show at Amsterdam’s RAI is one of the world’s largest showcase forums for manufacturers of integrated electronic systems and audio visual equipment. To complement their exhibition stand at the event, Samsung enlisted the aid of TBA to help organise a press conference with the intention of drawing journalists’ attention to their pioneering business product range.
Last Friday we helped the Football Association produce the FA Women’s Awards at The Brewery.
To finish off a very busy & exciting year for the FA celebrating their 150th anniversary, we had the pleasure of
Jacqui Oatley hosting the afternoon event.
TBA once again worked with the Football Association and ESPN at the weekend, this time to produce the FA England Awards at St Georges Park. Set in 330 acres of the National Forest, St Georges Park is the brand new home of National Football and was something different for the team to run an event out of the hustle and bustle of city life!
At the end of 2012, for the third consecutive year, TBA produced the annual British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) Awards. Hosted by Jake Humphrey, the awards were a glittering affair held in London’s Grand Connaught Rooms.
When the weather was that little bit brighter (remember that?), TBA worked with Carphone Warehouse to create a memorable award ceremony to celebrate the ‘Best Mobile Apps of 2012’.
With press coverage hitting the national press, the team took over Battersea Power Station to design and install various different spaces throughout the venue. Packed full of creative ideas, the infrastructure was brought to life with colourful projections and branded illuminated cubes suspended from the ceiling. TBA constructed everything from scratch including a press pen area, green room, a stylish ‘Appys Drinks Lounge’, main dining and stage area and that all important after-party space.
Once built, the hosting was left in the capable hands of our production manager Cassie Q, alongside the nation’s favourite presenter Dermot O’Leary to announce the best Apps of 2012 including the ‘Best Travel’, ‘Best Entertainment’ and ‘Best Social’ App. With the winners announced, all that was left was for the 300+ guests to get on their dancing shoes and take in the sounds of DJ Geno, Seb Fontaine and Wretch 32 (before one very large clear-up process….)
