Earlier this week, TBA took on a Tuesday night in town, attending the re-launch of restaurant and nightclub – DSTRKT, London.
Always on the look for the next big thing entertainment wise, we discovered the weird & wonderful Sam Bompas and Harry Parr. Breaking into the public as 'architectural foodsmiths', the duo have brought immersive flavour based experiences ranging from an inhabitable cloud of gin and tonic, a chocolate climbing wall to multi-sensory fireworks and the recent unveiling of cooking a 10oz ribeye with 2,100◦F lava!
Turning ourselves into dedicated petrol-heads, TBA produced a successful hospitality event, working alongside long-standing client British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) at this year’s British Grand Prix.
With the warm weather on our side, the two-tiered marquee provided host to over 400 BRDC members over the course of the weekend – with an iconic ‘Great British’ theme providing a talking point throughout. Positioned on the Club’s plot of land known as ‘The Farm’, TBA worked up an exciting and engaging creative aimed at giving guests a memorable experience to go home and tell their friends about.
On what was the longest day of the year, certain TBA members took to the rolling hills of Gloucestershire alongside a team of 70 helpers(!) to produce a 'Mini-Fest' event in aid of a 15th wedding anniversary.
Earlier in the month, TBAers Katie Greenslade and Suzie Pattle went to feast their eyes on the newly refurbished One Embankment.
Based underneath Waterloo Bridge in south-west London, the new space has been called One Embankment to fall in line with the company’s two existing venues – One Marylebone and One Mayfair.
As a general rule a Monday night for the TBA girls would normally consist of catching up with any missed TV from the weekend, healthy dinner (starting the week well) and an early night. But not last night… we were invited by JLA to attend The Real Variety Show 2013 at Cadogan Hall just off Sloane Square.
Back at one of London's best venues, TBA produced a one-off private event for 280 guests at ONE Mayfair. The historic landmark played host to American singer and songwriter Cee-Lo Green, who was flown over to perform a selection of his greatest hits solely for the high-end bash. On top of arranging all the entertainment, TBA worked on all the production, design, theming and catering, bringing the venue to life with a range of light shows, staging and mouth-watering food and drinks making it a night to remember for everyone involved.
