Mitch Winehouse's Jazz Band take to the stage at the Real Variety Show 2013
As a general rule a Monday night for the TBA girls would normally consist of catching up with any missed TV from the weekend, healthy dinner (starting the week well) and an early night. But not last night… we were invited by JLA to attend The Real Variety Show 2013 at Cadogan Hall just off Sloane Square.
The event saw approx 500 influential industry organisers gather to watch a variety of different & engaging acts available to book for events. The night was hosted by Russell Kane who was excellent; albeit rather eccentric!
Other acts which were fun and great for the right client was Magical Bones; a break dancing magician (has to be seen to be believed - http://magicalbones.com/) as well as the Four Screws Loose who were a great sketch comedy group (http://www.fourscrewsloose.com/).
Our personal favourite would have to be Jonny & the Baptists who were a comedy blues band – their act was extremely funny & closed the show to a roar of applause (http://jonnyandthebaptists.co.uk/)/.
We had a fantastic evening & will hopefully be able to use some of the performers at future events. Thank you JLA for a great evening – much better than our usual Monday night TV!
