TBA's very own Max Fellows recently visited the latest restaurant Pop-up; Gone Camping by The Art of Dining.
Located next to The Oval Space near Bethnal Green, lies a retro camp site where as opposed to formal dining, you will find yourself sat on picnic styled tables and talking to complete strangers. This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but whether you're looking for a unique experience, want to meet new people, or love camping, this is the restaurant for you!
Tickets are £55 per person and ‘Campers’ are treated to a drink upon arrival and a 5 course pre-set menu which ranges from a posh pot noodle through to marshmallows and hot chocolate (naughty but very good). Throughout the evening and in-between courses, campers all take part in a number of Scout like activities, led by your very own camp leader These included knot making, camp songs, whistle blowing and hand puppets.
The Gone Camping Pop-up finishes today but it is well worth keeping your eye on The Art of Dining's website for the next pop-up!
