Whilst we embark the festive season, one of our Account Manager’s Sophie timed a trip to festive Bruges perfectly as she spent two days on a FAM trip in the capital of West Flanders. The city, distinguished by its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings is absolutely stunning and features horse-drawn carriage rides and 17th-century houses converted into restaurants and cafes, as well as the 13th-century belfry with its 47-bell carillon and 83m tower with panoramic views.
Our very own Guy Horner (MD) and Max Fellows (Business Development Manager) are in the running to be in the Event 100 Club definitive list of the most influential people in the event industry.
Last month, TBA were proud to assist one of our biggest clients P&G break a World Record at the Superdrug Annual Christmas Conference, whilst also raising money for a great cause! With P&G a lead sponsor at the annual Superdrug event, in-between breaking World Records we were tasked with producing & designing a series of exhibition stands for their main beauty brands as well as assist with all on-stage content, interactive ideas throughout the venue and 160 gala dinner centre-pieces.
Last night, TBA descended to The World Class London Cocktail Week Hub on 51 Poland Street, Soho to see our work in action for long-standing client Diageo (and of course, trial some cocktails!).
It is no secret that the TBA team love a good pop-up, and this week we wanted to share our appreciation for The Jetty, a new temporary riverside venue in Greenwich.
Having started life as a coaling jetty for the Blackwall Point power station, the Jetty has now been brought back to life with the purpose of providing a platform for immersive performances. Built from shipping containers, the new arts venue offers a fun and playful atmosphere with the additional bonus of a fantastic backdrop, consisting of the O2 and Canary Wharf.
A few weeks back, we worked with a long-standing client to produce their annual Conference for all UK & Ireland employees. The event incorporated an Awards ceremony to celebrate the results of the previous year and recognise the top performers for 2014/15.
On top of organising all the design, technical elements, content & video for the day, we worked with an entertainment company, Moozi, to book musicians for the evening event. Launched this year, Moozi pride themselves in offering personal industry advice to help you find the right live music for your event. The founder, Tom Robins we met back in 2012 whilst head-lining a band himself at a private Mini-Fest in Oxfordshire.
Every summer, we look forward to our summer away day- a great excuse to get out of the office and let our hair down. This year we came up with the fantastic idea of a trip to Henley Regatta on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year - thank you very much!
TBA have been busy this weekend working with the FA and McDonalds to adapt the FA Lounge TBA created for England partner hospitality in the Great Hall at Wembley for the McDonalds sponsored Community Awards.
The 500 guests enjoyed a 3 course sit down meal along with a great awards show recognising and rewarding the heroes of grassroots football.
We had the privilege of helping ASOS throw their staff summer party last week at Fire nightclub in Vauxhall.
The brief was to ensure that the entertainment was exciting and gave people the choice to do what they wanted, whether it was to have a relaxing beer with a colleague or to go wild on the dancefloor. It was a fun brief for TBA because it meant we could go a little wild with our imagination and that we did; we came up with a plethora of exciting entertainment. Fire is made up of lots of different rooms, and each one had something new to see or do. From Rockaoke to a giant LED photo booth, makeup artists, henna tattooist, hair stylists, a green juice bar, a games room, a pick n mix stand and a number of top DJ’s, there was something for everyone!
