Another year on and termed the ‘best yet’ – TBA worked with British Racing Drivers’ Club to produce the 2014 BRDC Awards. The prestigious event saw over 340 Club members and VIP guests including newly crowned Formula 1® World Champion Lewis Hamilton MBE , Sir Jackie Stewart OBE and Damon Hill OBE to name but a few attend.
Rounding off a successful year of agency growth, new biz achievements and wide-scale events, TBA has been placed ninth in Event magazine's top brand experience agencies ranking. Event's first Brand Experience Report provides an in-depth analysis into the world of experiential, with analysis on the pitch process, budgets, lead times, payment terms, recruitment and event associations.
Known to have a tipple for Tanqueray and adding to our recent projects working with Diageo, last week we produced The Tanqueray Drawing Rooms – a celebration to the cocktail party's glorious history, creating a bespoke event behind the doors of a private London townhouse.
At the beginning of every month, the TBA team meet as a company to review the goings on around the agency. During the meeting, a TBA member gets to showcase what got their creative side engaged recently and back in October it was Amy Manistre leading the pack.
Up first - Artist Nathan Sawaya’s exhibition ART OF THE BRICK at one of TBA’s favourite London venues the Truman Brewery on Brick Lane which has had a fantastic media buzz. The exhibition features both reworked classic artworks such as The Mona Lisa and Picasso’s Starry Night, alongside original concept pieces by the artist himself. Featuring millions of LEGO blocks, the scale of the exhibition is rather staggering, and showcases some really creative achievements via a very unusual medium.
Katie and Rebecca were lucky enough to be invited for a private show around of the new Conrad Hotel at St James’s Park last Wednesday ending with a glass of Champagne.
Previously an InterContinental Hotel which re-opened in September, it includes 256 rooms including the one-bedroom Conrad Suite, which features its own private elevator, a restaurant, two bars and a tea lounge. The hotel also features eight meeting spaces, with a maximum capacity for 300 delegates, theatre style.
With industry awards in full swing, TBA were lucky enough to be invited to this year's Meeting Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA) as guests of M&IT Magazine. Held at the Lancaster London, having hosted a few of our own Awards and Conferences at the venue it was a real treat to be on the guest side of things!
After a hectic few months (despite a few mentions already), we've been dying to tell people more about the WORLD CLASS House we produced alongside the delivery of the WORLD CLASS Global Final.
For the duration of the week, a town house in Fitzrovia was transformed into a series of brand experiences to showcase the Diageo Reserve portfolio.
Last month, TBA paid a visit to The Banqueting House for a showcase dinner courtesy of Blue Strawberry caterers. Located in the grounds of Whitehall Palace we were joined at the event by over 350 prestigious people in the events industry and certainly went home amazed with what we saw, ate and drank!
Supporting our fellow team and London Cocktail Week, a few of us in the office headed to the streets of East London to visit our Tanqueray No. Ten Hub at Hixter City's, Mark's Bar. The hub was one of several pop-ups produced by TBA throughout #LCW and being the gin lovers we are, was guaranteed to be hit (be it on a Tuesday night!).
TBA have been working closely with Diageo on their brand activation around London Cocktail Week….come and check it out this week and visit us on Seven Dials @ the Ketel One HUB to collect your wrist band.
The week will see Bloody Mary Master Classes with Ketel One Vodka and full sensory experiences with Ron Zacapa taking you on a journey to the Guatemalan rain forest. One of London’s most exclusive venues Home House opens it's doors to the public in partnership with Haig Club, there's a Mexican Street Festival in East London with Don Julio and a pop up 1950’s American Diner with Bulleit Bourbon.
An that's just a small taster! The HUBS will be a hive of activity all week; drop in for tastings and masterclasses from the experts and remember mid Bloody Mary to say hello to the TBA team (Amie, Jenny & co!).
